High-Purity Magnesium Oxide (MgO) Tubes and Rods
Our facility specializes in manufacturing high-purity Magnesium Oxide (MgO) tubes and rods, which are essential components for industrial applications requiring superior electrical insulation and high-temperature resistance. We offer two distinct product lines, both engineered to guarantee exceptional quality and performance.
We provide two primary formulations of MgO to meet diverse technical requirements:
• Seawater-Derived High-Purity MgO: This variant utilizes our proprietary electrofused magnesia derived from seawater. This source ensures a controlled chemical composition and intrinsic purity, resulting in superior dielectric performance.
• 99% Purity MgO: Alternatively, we use high-quality electrofused magnesia with a 99% MgO content sourced from reputable domestic suppliers. This option offers an excellent balance of cost and performance without compromising critical material properties.
Both formulations are processed using advanced high-pressure automatic extrusion, followed by a meticulous firing process in pusher-plate tunnel kilns at 1700°C. This rigorous manufacturing control grants our ceramic insulators an exceptional density of 2.3 g/ml, directly contributing to their structural robustness and unbeatable insulation properties. With an annual capacity of 500 tons, we are a leading provider of cutting-edge MgO ceramics.
Our MgO insulators are versatile, high-performance components designed for demanding environments. Due to their exceptional dielectric properties and thermal stability, they are critical in:
• Electric Heating Elements: Ideal for internal insulation in cartridge heaters, high-density heaters, and other heating elements, ensuring efficient heat transfer and operational safety.
• Thermocouples and Temperature Sensors: Used as thermocouple ceramics, these tubes protect wiring from harsh environments, ensuring precise and reliable temperature measurements in high-heat industrial processes.
• High-Temperature Electrical Insulators: Essential for applications requiring dielectric strength at extreme temperatures, protecting circuits from overheating or short circuits. They are fundamental in manufacturing MgO porcelain terminal blocks.
• Ceramic Cores: Serving as structural support and electrical insulation for heating elements, maintaining integrity at elevated temperatures.
• Furnace and Kiln Components: Employed in industrial furnaces, stoves, and heat treatment equipment as support and insulation elements.
• Metallurgical and Foundry Industries: Providing protection and insulation in extreme thermal conditions to enhance process safety and efficiency.
• Exceptional Electrical Insulation: High purity and density ensure reliable dielectric properties even at peak operating temperatures.
• Extreme Temperature Resistance: Rated for environments up to 1700°C, maintaining structural integrity where other materials fail.
• High Density (2.3 g/ml): Achieved through high-pressure extrusion, this density improves mechanical strength and optimizes thermal conductivity.
• Material Purity: Available in 97% or 99% MgO content to minimize impurities that could degrade electrical or thermal performance.
• Durability: Robust construction leads to a longer service life for the systems in which they are integrated, reducing maintenance costs.
• Versatile Formats: We produce tubes and rods ranging from 1.8 mm to 20 mm in outer diameter and up to 350 mm in length, available in single-hole, twin-hole, and multi-hole configurations.
