The HT-B3A winding machine is designed to handle wire spools up to 50 KG in weight as standard. This capacity is suitable for most heaters wire winding operations used in the manufacturing of cartridge heaters and other heating elements.

However, we understand that some productions may require larger wire spools to optimize process continuity and reduce spool changes. For these cases, the HT-B3A offers a flexible solution: an external unwinder can be installed next to the machine. This additional unwinder allows the use of heavier wire spools, ensuring a constant and smooth wire feed to the machine, which contributes to more efficient and uninterrupted production, especially in the manufacturing of high-density heating elements.

The HT-B3A winding machine is equipped with an advanced control system that allows for adjustable winding speed. This means there is no single fixed speed; instead, the operator can regulate it to optimize the process according to the specific characteristics of the resistive wire and the heating element being manufactured.

The ability to adjust the speed is a key advantage, as it allows for:

•       Adaptation to different wire diameters: Finer wires may require lower speeds to prevent breakage, while thicker ones can be wound at higher speeds.

•       Optimization for different materials: The ideal speed may vary when winding onto MgO rods, mica sheets, or carbon fiber.

•       Improvement of winding quality: Precise control of speed and pitch contributes to uniform and consistent winding, essential for the production of high-quality cartridge heaters and high-density heating elements.

This flexible speed control, managed through the servomotor, PLC, and touch screen system, ensures that the HT-B3A machine can operate with maximum efficiency and precision for each application.

Although 0.07 mm wire is just below the nominal range, with appropriate adjustments to speed and tension, and possibly with specific winding tools for ultra-fine wires, the HT-B3A can operate successfully. It is fundamental to perform initial tests and adjustments for each type of thin wire to ensure smooth winding and efficient production of high-quality electric heaters.
