Our range of industrial PTFE and silicone fabrics represents the forefront in high-performance materials, designed to overcome the most demanding challenges in industrial environments. These products are based on a high-tenacity fiberglass substrate, coated with Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) dispersions or vulcanized silicone rubber. This advanced engineering gives our fabrics exceptional properties such as superior non-stickiness, unmatched resistance to extreme temperatures, and robust chemical protection.

We offer various variants to meet specific needs:

•       Fiberglass Fabric with Teflon (PTFE): An engineered compound with an exceptionally smooth and non-porous surface, characterized by the lowest known coefficient of friction. The fiberglass provides dimensional stability and high tensile strength under elevated thermal loads.

•       Fiberglass Fabric with Teflon and Adhesive: Incorporates a high-performance silicone adhesive on one side, protected by an easy-release liner. This variant simplifies installation and maintains fixation in demanding operating environments, offering a low-friction, high-durability coating solution.

•       Silicone Fabrics (Single and Double-Sided): Use fiberglass as reinforcement, coated with silicone rubber. They offer superior flexibility and excellent resistance to weathering, ozone, and UV radiation, making them ideal for dynamic applications. The double-sided version maximizes abrasion resistance and lifespan.

•       Specialized PTFE Fabrics (Blue and Copper): Advanced PTFE formulations for specific requirements. The Oil-Resistant Blue Fabric improves resistance to absorption and degradation by oils and high-temperature hydraulic fluids. The Copper-Colored Fabric is used in applications requiring specific thermal management, such as PCB lamination.

The versatility of our industrial fabrics makes them indispensable in a wide range of sectors and critical applications:

•       Packaging Industry: Lining of sealing bars and jaws in high-speed packaging machines, ensuring clean and efficient seals.

•       Thermal Processes: Conveyor belts for curing, drying, and baking ovens in the textile, printing, and food industries, where high-temperature resistance and non-stickiness are crucial.

•       Surface Protection: Lining of pressing plates and molds to prevent adhesion of polymers, resins, and other materials, facilitating cleaning and prolonging equipment lifespan.

•       Automotive and Petrochemical Industry: Engine gaskets, pump seals, and protection in oily environments thanks to the oil-resistant blue fabric.

•       Electronics: PCB lamination and curing of composite materials with the copper-colored fabric, where thermal management and antistatic properties are vital.

•       Dynamic Applications: Where superior flexibility and resistance to weathering, ozone, and UV radiation are required, such as in the manufacture of gaskets or protective covers.

Our industrial fabrics offer a set of features and advantages that position them as the preferred choice for demanding applications:

•       Superior Non-Stickiness: Very low coefficient of friction surface that prevents material adhesion, facilitating cleaning and reducing maintenance.

•       High and Low-Temperature Resistance: Capable of continuous operation in ranges from -73°C to +260°C (PTFE) and -60°C to +200°C (Silicone), with peaks up to 300°C.

•       Exceptional Chemical Inertness: Resistance to almost all acids, bases, and solvents, ensuring durability in corrosive environments.

•       Dimensional Stability: Fiberglass as a substrate provides excellent stability, preventing deformation even under thermal and mechanical loads.

•       Durability and Long Lifespan: High tensile strength, tear resistance, and abrasion resistance, resulting in a longer product lifespan and lower replacement costs.

•       Electrical Insulation: High dielectric strength, ideal for applications requiring insulation.

•       Ease of Installation: Adhesive variants allow for quick and easy in-situ lining, reducing downtime.

•       Regulatory Compliance: Frequently comply with FDA regulations, making them suitable for food contact in certain applications.

FAQ

Although both are high-performance fabrics, their properties make them suitable for different applications:

•       PTFE Fabrics: Stand out for their extreme non-stickiness, very high-temperature resistance, and almost universal chemical inertness. They are ideal for static or low-movement applications where non-stickiness and chemical resistance are critical, such as sealing linings or conveyor belts in ovens.

•       Silicone Fabrics: Offer superior flexibility and excellent resistance to weathering, ozone, and UV radiation. They are preferable for dynamic applications or where greater elasticity and resistance to environmental factors are required, such as flexible gaskets or protective covers.
