Special Electric Heat Tracing Series

The ABRDC-G series silicone rubber electric heat tracing offers excellent waterproof performance and flexibility, making it ideal for heating, heat preservation, and anti-freezing in various industrial and laboratory applications. Its soft and bendable nature allows direct winding on heated surfaces, providing efficient and reliable thermal solutions.

The ABRDC-G type silicone rubber electric heat tracing is engineered for superior waterproof capabilities, suitable for use in damp or non-explosive gas environments within industrial facilities and laboratories. It can be directly wound around the surface of pipes, tanks, and other containers for heating, heat preservation, and insulation. This heat tracing is also effective as auxiliary heating for equipment such as air compressors, motors, and submersible pumps. To minimize heat loss, it is recommended to cover the heat tracing with an insulation layer. Overlapping or repeated winding should be strictly avoided to prevent overheating damage. High-voltage resistant models feature a dielectric strength of 2000V/1min, making them suitable for auxiliary heating of high-voltage explosion-proof motors. Due to its exceptional softness and high flexibility, silicone rubber heat tracing is also known as flexible heating tape.

1.When installing, the silicone rubber skin should be tightly attached to the surface of pipes or tanks and secured with aluminum foil tape.

2.To avoid heat loss, an insulation layer should be covered outside the electric heat tracing.

3.Repeated winding is strictly prohibited to prevent overheating damage.

FAQ

Overlapping or repeated winding of the ABRDC-G electric heat tracing is strictly prohibited to prevent localized overheating. This product is designed to dissipate heat efficiently when properly installed, with the silicone rubber skin tightly attached to the surface of the object being heated. If the heat tracing overlaps, the heat generated in the overlapped sections cannot dissipate effectively, leading to excessive temperatures that can damage the heat tracing itself, the heated object, or pose a safety risk. Always ensure proper spacing and follow installation guidelines, securing the heat tracing with aluminum foil tape.
